Jerry O’Connell is a well-known American actor. On February 17, 1974, in Manhattan, Jerry was born to a family of Linda, a teacher, and Michael O’Connell, art director of an advertising agency. Jerry also has a younger brother, Charles O’Connell. The boy spent his entire childhood in his native Manhattan. He received his secondary education at the Professional Children’s School (PCS), and his higher education in film at New York University.

Establishing a career as an actor

Jerry O’Connell began his professional career at the age of eleven when he appeared in a cookie commercial. He did not stop there, however, and went on to play Vern Tessio in the motion picture “Stand by Me”. Later, he resumed his commercial career, featuring in the 1987 breakfast cereal campaign Frosted Flakes. However, the young man received his first recognition and popularity after appearing in the TV series “My Secret Identity” as a guy with supernatural abilities, Andrew Clements. Jerry O’Connell met his soulmate, American actress and supermodel Rebecca Alie Romijn, back in 2004 at a party in Las Vegas. In an interview, the man stated that he and the woman fell in love at first sight. The actor also mentioned that he immediately liked how cheerful she was and that they got along right away. Following this meeting, they kept in touch and eventually got together. In 2007, the couple married in Los Angeles in a small circle of friends and family. It was Romijn’s second marriage and O’Connell’s first. The following year, the family welcomed twin girls. They were named Charlie Tamara Tulip and Dolly Rebecca Rose.
